Job Summary
Through hands-on experience in sports media, communications, and event coverage, this position supports the Athletics Department by enhancing the visibility and engagement of the baseball program through digital media.
Responsibilities
• Is responsible to understand, support, and carry out the college's mission, vision, and values and comply with mandates and regulations of government and accrediting bodies
Photography:
• Captures high-quality action and candid shots during all home baseball games
• Archives and organizes photos for promotional use
Social Media Content Creation:
• Develops and posts engaging content across GHC Baseball social media platforms
• Ensures timely and brand-consistent messaging
Play-by-Play Coverage:
• Provides live updates during home games via social media or designated platforms
• Collaborates with game operations staff for accurate coverage
Post-Game Wrap-Ups:
• Assists in creating recaps or highlight posts following each home game
• Performs other duties as assigned
Required Qualifications
• Currently enrolled as a GHC student in good academic standing
• Knowledge and level of competency commonly associated with the completion of a High School diploma or equivalent, while currently in a course of study related to the occupational field
• Interest or experience in photography, social media, or sports broadcasting
• Must be available to work evening/weekend hours during home games
Proposed Salary
$12 per hour

• Solid understanding of baseball and its rules
