Reinhardt, Cherokee County, Ga. Chick-fil-A Establish Educational Pathway Partnership

WALESKA, GA (Nov. 2, 2018) -- Reinhardt University and local Chick-fil-A owner/operator, Kevin Williams, are joining forces to support emerging leaders in the Chick-fil-A organization.

Reinhardt President Kina S. Mallard, Provost Mark A. Roberts and Williams signed a partnership agreement Friday that creates a pathway for Chick-fil-A team members to get financial assistance as they earn their degrees and advance in leadership responsibilities within the Chick-fil-A organization.

“One of Reinhardt’s strategic goals is to connect with community businesses in innovative ways,” Mallard said. “Together, Chick-fil-A and Reinhardt University have created a partnership that develops emerging leaders within the Chick-fil-A Canton organization."

“We are seeking to raise up leaders through this MBA partnership with Reinhardt University and Chick-fil-A Canton that builds on our mission of Creating Moments of Kindness,” said Williams, who also serves as a member of the Reinhardt University Board of Trustees. “We have no greater goal than to glorify God by how we serve others. We believe when you learn to lead with this as a priority the results can be extraordinary.”

The partnership creates an organized structure, allowing Chick-fil-A Canton team members from the three locations owned and operated by Williams – Riverstone, Canton Marketplace and Hickory Flat – to receive discounted tuition toward a Master of Business Administration.

First-year MBA student and Chick-fil-A Canton team member Hayden Holcomb said he is honored to be one of the first team members chosen to participate in the MBA Leader Development Program.

“This partnership is making a dream come true as it gives me the opportunity to grow with an amazing brand while earning my MBA,” he said. “I am able to use my work experience through this extraordinary opportunity with Reinhardt University to apply what I am learning to my experiences working with Chick-fil-A Canton.”

The partnership agreement – also supported by Scholarship America – allows Chick-fil-A Canton team members and their immediate family members to receive discounted tuition for any undergraduate online program, including an Associate of Business Administration, Bachelor of Business Administration, Associate of Science in Criminal Justice, Bachelor of Criminal Justice, Bachelor of Healthcare Administration and the RN to BSN program.
