Job Opportunities at the Chamber
Please congratulate LaDonna Jordan, our COO, and Chris Thomas, our Membership and Marketing Director, when you see them! They both will be joining LakePoint Sports in May. Both LaDonna and Chris are our friends, and they have done an outstanding job serving others at the Chamber. To be honest, it is like losing family, but we are so happy for them and know that they will continue to serve our community and others at LakePoint.
The Chamber needs your help finding a new Chief Operations Officer and Treasurer (the “COO”) and Membership and Marketing Director! Please have your friends, family members or colleagues send their resumes to the Chamber, as described below.
The COO is the second highest ranking position at the Chamber. The COO acts as my chief assistant and is responsible for coordinating and maintaining the daily operations of the Chamber. The COO also acts as the Chief Financial Officer, responsible for financial oversight and check writing. The Membership and Marketing Director inspires the community through promoting a positive image of the Chamber (in the community and media) and recruits, trains, and engages new Chamber Members.
The selection process will be as follows:
- We will accept resumes until Good Friday, April 18th for COO and Friday, April 26th for the Membership and Marketing Director. Please see the Job Postings for email directions.

- I will cut the field and send out a Questionnaire/Application to the top candidates.
- Based on the written responses to my questions, I will interview the top three or four candidates.
- Hopefully, the process will conclude within a week or two of Chris’s last day of April 25th and LaDonna’s last day of April 30th.
