IMMEDIATE OPENING for Chief Operations Officer

The Cartersville-Bartow County Chamber of Commerce, Inc. (the “Chamber”) is looking to immediately fill the position of Chief Operations Officer (“COO”).  The COO is the second highest ranking position at the Chamber and is the Chief Assistant to the Chamber President & CEO.  The COO is also responsible for helping coordinate the daily operations of the Chamber and acts as the Treasurer and Chief Financial Officer, responsible for financial oversight, accounts payable and receivables.
 
Qualifications:  4 years’ solid experience in areas such as team leadership, administration, human resources and financial oversight (accounting).  Chamber desires a person who is a team player, energetic, servant hearted, self-motivated, organized, driven and goal oriented.  College degree (BBA or BS) or combination of like education or work experience required.  Proficiencies in Microsoft Office, Excel and Accounting Software required.
 
Must be flexible for some evening and weekend events or functions.  All Chamber employees are subject to background checks and drug testing.
