Help Children from Flowering Branch and Other Shelters Meet Santa!

The Real Bearded Santas of North Georgia, in conjunction with the Blue Ridge Scenic Railway, are sponsoring the Santa Express 2016, a chartered train with over 50 Santas.
Our organization wishes to partner with organizations that help children who may not otherwise have the opportunity to take a trip of this nature. Across North Georgia and throughout our area there are many children in foster homes and orphanages and homeless shelters. To be able to offer them an experience of this type is why Santa exists.
The Blue Ridge Scenic Railway has offered the charter to RBSNGA and in addition to the train ride, we would like to provide dinner and gifts for each of these children. We are hoping to raise a total of $10,000 as this will cover the cost for the train as well as provide a meal and gift for each child. We are working in with the directors of Flowering Branch Children’s in Cartersville, Mountain Top Boys Home in Sugar Hill, Rainbow Children’s in Dahlonega, and children from foster homes around Bartow and Floyd Counties. The trip is scheduled for September 24, 2016, from 4:00 P.M. to 8:00 P.M.
We are seeking donations from local businesses to help us meet our goal. If you choose to participate, you will be making a difference for less fortunate children in our area. You will be helping Santa and that will surely guarantee your name on the Nice List! Choose the contribution level that works best for your business:

- Reindeer Trainer – Contribute $500 to $999 and receive a listing on your Nice List Santa Express T-shirt plus acknowledgements.
