First National Community Bank to Celebrate 50th Anniversary with Branch System-Wide Event on August 18th
Special Day of Celebration Across All Branches Marks Half a Century of Service

Chatsworth, Ga. – First National Community Bank (FNCB), a wholly owned subsidiary of First Chatsworth Bankshares, Inc., is excited to announce a branch system-wide celebration on August 18, 2025, commemorating 50 years since the bank’s founding in 1975. This all-day event across all 11 branches will bring together customers, employees, and community partners to celebrate five decades of trusted service, community commitment, and growth throughout northwest Georgia.

The milestone celebration will include food, refreshments, giveaways, at all 11 First National Community Bank branches and a commemorative ceremony at founding Chatsworth office featuring a tribute to the bank, which opened for business on August 18, 1975. The bank has since grown into the largest locally-owned community bank in northwest Georgia, with a network of branches serving cities including Adairsville, Cartersville, Calhoun, Chatsworth, Dalton, Dallas, Eton, and Rome. The August 18th event promises to be a memorable day, celebrating past achievements and looking forward to the future.

Last month, FNCB hosted a memorable Customer & Community Appreciation event to celebrate their S&P Global Market Intelligence recognition — Ranked Top 20 in the Nation and Top 10 in the Southeast of top-performing banks. This recognition and branch system wide event in May set the tone for the anniversary year by honoring those who have supported the bank’s journey. Additionally, the bank will round out 2025 with its annual Holiday Cookie Party on December 19, expanded this year to celebrate the anniversary with special festivities.

“Celebrating 50 years in business is an incredible milestone, and it’s made even more special by being named a top-performing bank by S&P Global Market Intelligence this year. It is extra special to receive such recognition during our anniversary year and reflects our ongoing commitment to excellence and community-focused banking. This anniversary is not just a reflection of where we’ve been, but also a celebration of where we’re headed, as we continue to build on our legacy and the strong relationships we’ve formed in northwest Georgia,” said Ryan Earnest, President & CEO of FNCB.

FNCB looks forward to celebrating this monumental occasion with its customers, employees, and communities across northwest Georgia. With a legacy of trust, service, and growth, FNCB is excited to continue its tradition of community-focused banking for another 50 years and beyond.

“As First National Community Bank celebrates its 50 Year Anniversary, I want to say ‘Thank You’ to all our customers and supporters for allowing us to serve you, your family, and your businesses for the last 50 years. Only with your support have we been successful. Our dedicated team of Bankers look forward to serving our communities for another 50 years. Again, thanks for your continued support,” said Johnny Waters, Chairman.
