Competition Judges Needed

HELP PREPARE OUR STUDENTS FOR THEIR FUTURE
 
COMPETITION JUDGES NEEDED
 
Marketing students are planning to host the DECA regional competition this January 23^rd.  DECA is a Marketing and Entrepreneurship club. Approximately 200 Marketing students from across the region will be coming to the Career Academy to compete in various marketing and business events. Community members are needed to serve as judges at this exciting event.  Not only do students practice the skills they are learning in Marketing classes, but they get to put them into action and learn from business leaders. 
 
Students are given a business scenario or problem and they must present to the judges how they would handle the situation.  Judges are given a rubric and questions to ask.  Students who score the highest are able to move onto state competition.
