Chamber Member Restaurants,

Adairsville Middle School has launched a new initiative called “Good Job Cards.”  The attached picture shows you what these cards will look like and below is an explanation from AMS Principal, Tony Stanfill.  If you like to donate gift cards, free ice cream, free dessert, free kid’s meal, etc, you may drop those off at the Chamber at 122 W. Main Street in Cartersville and we will deliver them to the school.  You may also drop them off at Adairsville Middle School (485 Old U.S. 41) and Mr. Stanfill will give you a tour of the building! If you donate monetary gift cards, please keep them at $5.  We don’t want some students to get more and some to get less!

What is a Good Job Card?
Throughout the week, teachers will recognize students whom are doing a “GOOD JOB.”  Good Jobs can be recognized in academics, athletics, citizenship (i.e. helping another student pick up their belongings, reporting bullying), behavior, attendance, etc.  The teacher will fill out the Good Job Card and place it in their grade level administrators box.  Then every Friday, administrators will go to the students’ homeroom and present the card to the student in front of their peers and they’ll explain who recommended them and why.  Attached to the card will be a coupon for a free ice cream, nuggets, etc. from a local business.

Thank you in advance for your wonderful generosity!
