A Tribute to Frank Sinatra Starring Tom Tiratto is coming to The Grand Theatre in downtown Cartersville as part of the Century Bank Entertainment Series.

The Century Bank Entertainment Series at The Grand Theatre continues on Saturday, March 4th at 7:00 p.m. with A Tribute to Frank Sinatra Starring Tom Tiratto.

Tom is a true Sinatra singer who has recreated the sounds of the legendary entertainer Frank Sinatra in a way that can only be appreciated through this wonderful tribute performance. Tom performs with the same smooth vocals, phrasing and mannerisms, so unique to that Sinatra style.

This show takes you back to a wonderful era of music and laughter reflecting the many moods and memories of the man we knew as 'Old Blue Eyes'.

“We have been looking to include a Frank Sinatra Tribute to the Century Bank Entertainment Series for several years, and we finally found one that we felt the audience would love. Tom’s voice and presentation is a fantastic tribute to a musical icon.”, says theatre Administrator, Matt Santini.  “We expect a high energy show and presentation from Tom and his band leader Robert Boyd. Tom will be performing with a seventeen piece big band that will help to recreate that time period in Las Vegas when big bands were prominent in the music scene”

All of the familiar Sinatra songs will be a part of the show “Summer Wind”, “New York-New York”, “My Way” and many others. The music of Frank Sinatra is timeless and his popularity has spanned several generations and is still relevant and enjoyed today. Our patrons are in for a real treat with this show.

Tom Tiratto: Recording artist, actor, producer and a premier performer, has enjoyed international success with his tribute to the legendary Frank Sinatra. Tom is well known for his resemblance to the smooth vocals of ‘Old Blue Eyes’.

A native of Cleveland Ohio, Tom was musically inclined at a young age, studied percussion and became a proficient drummer playing in local rock, polka and jazz bands throughout the Cleveland area. Tom also participated in community theatre, and drama events. Despite the musical diversity and cultural changes of the sixties, Tom developed a great appreciation and admiration for the early crooners during the 1930's and 40's, particularly The Big Band Era and ‘Frank Sinatra'. Tom got serious and sought the expertise of a vocal trainer and learned the ability to express Sinatra’s repertoire with an uncanny sense of style, phrasing, and all the mannerisms reminiscent to a live ‘Sinatra is Back’ concert. With his 17 piece Big Band, audiences are entertained with a variety of Sinatra signature songs, plus a few Big Band numbers featuring our orchestra. Tom’s purpose in life is to memorialize the musical virtuosity of the late great Frank Sinatra in a way like no other.

Conductor Robert Boyd: Talented in every aspect of the music industry, Robert is an excellent pianist as well as a skilled orchestrator and arranger.  He is a graduate of the Crane School of Music at the State University of New York, Potsdam (BS Mus. Ed), and the University of Rochester; (Ed. M.), and studied conducting with Robert Shaw, Atlanta Symphony, and Rayburn Wright, Music Director of Radio City Music Hall.
