2016-17 Century Bank Entertainment Series at The Grand Theatre Events Announced.

The Grand Theatre in downtown Cartersville has released the lineup for the 2016-2017 Century Bank Entertainment Series at The Grand Theatre. “While the transition to our new ticketing software took much longer than we anticipated and delayed our announcement, the upgrade will be of great benefit to our patrons”, stated Grand Theatre Administrator Matt Santini. “Century Bank’s leadership and commitment to The Grand and our community continues, and we are thankful for their continued support of our entertainment series”.

Season tickets and single event tickets are on sale now. Season tickets are on sale at The Grand Theatre Ticket Office at 7 North Wall Street in Cartersville or by phone at 770-386-7343. Season ticket holders to last year’s series have the opportunity to renew their season tickets for the same seats now through Friday, October 28th. Season ticket holders get a 10% discount off the single event ticket prices with orchestra level seats remaining at $25 each and balcony level seats at $20 each. Season tickets for the orchestra level are $112.50 each, and balcony level seats are $90.00 each.

Single event tickets purchases can be made online at
www.thegrandtheatre.org, by phone or at The Grand Theatre Ticket Office. Prior to the theatre’s ticket upgrade, only a limited number of seats were available online. American Young
Saturday, November 5th at 7:00 p.m.

Country Artists Jon Stone and Kristy Osmunson form the new country duo American Young. This Nashville based pair is on the rise with appearances on national TV, the release of their second CD, and their song “Soldier’s Wife” getting national praise.

American Young. It’s more than a name. It’s a movement. A passion for music and more importantly it’s meaning. As artists, songsmiths, producers, and entertainers, Jon Stone and Kristy Osmunson define American Young this way. They are seasoned veterans on how music can inherently affect emotion and even culture. The collaborative fresh new duo already claim songwriting credits for hit makers Kenny Chesney, Lee Brice, Rascal Flatts, Blake Shelton and more. Recording and writing comes from a deep, poignant place with a desire to affect global audiences with songs featuring tight harmonies and storytelling. “American Young represents a sound with no boundaries. We are squarely focused on delivering our own brand of music and hope that folks will find our songs everything from haunting to dramatic and intense”, says Jon.

Tom Tiratto, a true Sinatra singer has recreated the sounds of this legendary entertainer ‘Frank Sinatra’, in a way that can only be appreciated through this wonderful tribute performance. Tom performs with the same smooth vocals, phrasing and mannerisms, so unique to that Sinatra style. This is a show reminiscent of those days in Las Vegas when Big Bands were prominent on the music scene. The best of Sinatra hits are all in there. Songs like Summerwind, New York-New York, My Way and all the antics of The Rat Pack. This show takes you back to a wonderful era of music and laughter reflecting the many moods and memories of the man we knew as ‘Old Blue Eyes’.

Restless Heart
Saturday, April 22nd at 7:00 p.m.

John Dittrich, Greg Jennings, Paul Gregg, Dave Innis, and Larry Stewart – the men who make up Restless Heart have enjoyed one of the most successful careers in Country Music history, placing over 25 singles on the charts – with six consecutive #1 hits, four of their albums have been certified Gold by the RIAA, and they have won a wide range of awards from many organizations – including the Academy of Country Music’s Top Vocal Group trophy. Those stats aside, Innis feels that their career goes much deeper than that.

“In the past few years, we have really started to branch out in the community, particularly our work with the Nashville Rescue Mission. We have hosted an event called Restless Heart & Friends – Music With A Mission that we do at the Schermerhorn Center with the Nashville Symphony. We invite a lot of our friends in the industry across all genres to join us, and all of the money we raise goes to the Nashville Rescue Mission. The other thing that stands out is the tours we have done in support of the men and women of the Armed Forces. We did some tours with the Air Force, going all over the world.” Those audiences have sung along with their record-shattering string of hits, such as “I’ll Still Be Loving You,” “Fast Movin’ Train” and “When She Cries.” Stewart says it’s humbling to know Restless Heart has made an impact.

“I’m proud of the fact that we get to hear stories from young artists and musicians that we might have made an impression or inspiring them to come to town – having number one records, and hearing the stories of what they meant to people. To know that you have been a part of something that made a difference, the power of music, the power of a song. To be a part of something that made a mark. However big or small of a mark Restless Heart made, it’s still a mark. To be able to appreciate and feel blessed that we got lucky enough to get together. I feel like it was something that was meant to be.”
