ThingsToDoInBartow.com -- the Best of Bartow, all in one place

ThingsToDoInBartow.com has officially launched!  Saturday, March 15 ThingsToDoInBartow.com participated with the Cartersville-Bartow County Convention and Visitors Bureau’s tent at LakePoint Sports’ inaugural women’s run.

The website highlights the Best of Bartow’s sports and recreational activities, events and many more things to do …all in one place.  It also highlights the beauty, uniqueness and hidden treasures of our communities.

Whether you are a long-time or new resident, or a visitor, looking for a fun outdoor activity like renting a WaveRunner or a boat – or looking for a special holiday meal at an amazing 1901 Victorian-style manor – you can find them at ThingsToDoInBartow.com.  And much more.

One of our most magnificent treasures is Lake Allatoona, where a range of watersports rentals are available – like party boats, boats with wakeboard towers, WaveRunners and more.  Paradise Boat Rentals at Park Marina is tucked away within beautiful Red Top Mountain State Park.  “We have been here for a very long time and still hear people say they didn’t know we were here.  This year we have a brand new fleet of boats with wakeboard towers, and are looking forward to beautiful weather and a long season.” said rentals manager Andrew Cain.

For Easter, Mother’s Day, Father’s Day and Christmas time – a magical treat is to have a special holiday meal at Grand Oaks, which is a circa 1901 Victorian-style manor in Cartersville.  At the website, listed under Restaurants, you can see how magnificently Grand Oaks was decorated at Christmas time.  Reservations are required and seating is limited!

ThingsToDoInBartow.com features many popular Bartow activities – like kayak and tube rentals, camping, hiking, lakefront cabin rentals and more.  The Sports and Recreation drop down menu directs you to a range of things to do.

Visitors to the website will also find popular craft fairs, events and festivals highlighted on the home page and on the Events page.  There is a new spring festival this year – plus swing and foxtrot dance lessons have started -- visit the ThingsToDoInBartow.com home page to learn more!

Other popular attractions from Cartersville to Adairsville include museums and historic sites, antiques and collectibles, gift shopping and performing arts.

The About Bartow section includes highlights for Bartow, Cartersville, Adairsville, Euharlee and Emerson – including some historic highlights.  Hotels and accommodations are included at the website, and many of our unique local restaurants.

To give those new to Bartow a bird’s eye view, visitors to the website can just click on the helicopter icon on the home page.  Aerial view photos include Cartersville’s main attractions relative to I-75, the LakePoint Sports area, Atlanta and Chattanooga proximities to Bartow.  There is also an aerial view of Adairsville showing its proximity to Cartersville.

The website is created and published by Carol Redman, a 13-year Bartow resident.  Both her marketing and communications consulting CarolRedman.com and ThingsToDoInBartow.com are members of the Cartersville-Bartow County Chamber of Commerce.

The Cartersville-Bartow County Chamber of Commerce is celebrating its 125th anniversary.  Chris Thomas, Director of Membership and Marketing for the Chamber, said “Both Carol Redman and ThingsToDoInBartow.com are engaged Chamber members.  Having popular activities, events, hotels, restaurants and more in one place at ThingsToDoInBartow.com is a wonderful showcase of Bartow for current and new residents – and visitors to Bartow.”
