Job Description

Signs & More, Inc. is looking for an intern to work after school Monday – Friday (office hours are 9 – 5:30, but we are usually here till 6pm). You do not need any sign or graphic experience – we will OTJ train, but you need to be able to multi-task & follow directions.

Intern/Customer Service - Job Description:
This position is responsible for helping customer service to answer the phone, directing calls, filing, and aiding in our uncompromising standards of quality, on-time delivery, and customer service. Also, providing vacation and overflow backup for CSRs.

 Excellent verbal & written communication and interpersonal skills
 Excellent attention to detail
 Ability to multitask and balance multiple projects simultaneously.

Duties include:
Customer Service Duties:
• Answering phone calls in a professional and friendly manner - Providing positive customer service experience
• Taking accurate messages including time and date.
• Call to verify customer received emailed estimate, resend the estimate if needed or transfer to CSR.
• Post on Company’s Social Media Acct (Facebook, Instagram, Youtube, Pinterest, LinkedIn, Yelp, Google & etc)
• Filing completed customer orders, paid vendor invoices, etc.
• Keeping areas tidy (i.e. filing magazines, job/quote folders, stow customer orders, tidy breakroom) (Daily).
• Make Breakroom Grocery List & Stock Breakroom Groceries – Drinks, Coffee & etc.
• Courier duties as needed (i.e. drop off UPS, submit permit, deliver material to installers – if intern has vehicle)
• Opening Packages – Checking contents against what was ordered

Customer Service/Sales Support Duties:
• Entering Customer info (Company, Address, Name, Phone & Email) into POS System.
• New quote projects – save photos/info on server, ensure we have correct file for logos & etc., enter contact info into POS system, make folder, write directions for design (if it is easily figured out what client wants) and put in appropriate bin or give to Customer Service.
Following up on quote from vendors/Track outsourced orders.
• Help keep production/scheduling board up to date (moving & cleaning magnets).
• Light administrative assistance to CEO as requested.
