Fencing Crew Lead

Job Description

Atwork Personnel is seeking a motivated Crew Leader to manage fencing installation projects. Must have hands-on fencing experience, strong leadership, and the ability to lead a crew of 3–4. Responsible for completing jobs on time, within budget, and to high-quality standards.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead crews of 3–4 members
  • Train and mentor new hires
  • Ensure quality and deadlines are met
  • Communicate with clients, supervisors, and team
  • Solve on-site issues promptly
  • Track progress and crew hours via SingleOps
  • Plan for cost efficiency and minimal waste
  • Follow safety regulations and industry standards

Qualifications & Skills:

  • Strong leadership and communication
  • Spanish fluency a plus
  • Proven ability to deliver high-quality, timely work
  • Knowledge of planning and cost control

Fencing Installation Experience Required:

  • Chain Link Fences & Gates (residential/commercial)
  • Wood Fences (picket, cap and band)
  • PVC Fences
  • Aluminum & Steel Ornamental Fences
  • Farm Fencing

Commercial & Specialty Installations:

  • Commercial chain link with truss/bracing
  • Baseball field and outfield fencing
  • Tennis court enclosures
  • Cantilever gates
  • Concrete pads for gate operators
  • Panic bars, guardrails
  • Reading and interpreting blueprints

Equipment & Technical Skills:

  • Drive company vehicles
  • Operate Bobcats and heavy equipment
  • Strong customer communication
  • Welding is a plus

Additional Requirements:

  • Valid driver’s license, clean record
  • Able to work outdoors in all weather
  • Attention to detail and problem-solving
  • Strong commitment to safety and efficiency

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From $28.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
