Event Description:
Join us on April 20, 2018 in downtown Rome to honor sexual assault awareness month for our first annual The Walk. (This event was formerly known as the Jeans 4 Justice Walk.) We will walk together to raise awareness of this issue, to support survivors, to embrace our voices, and to affect change in our community and culture. Join us to empower and embrace the voices of so many who have felt unheard. Whether you are walking to raise awareness or walking in honor of someone who has been affected, we welcome you to join us.

We will meet at Admiral John H. Towers Memorial Plaza in front of the Rome City Auditorium beginning at 11:30am for registration and check-in. The Walk will begin at 12 noon.
