Museum Admission required for this event.
Found an interesting rock, mineral, or fossil and want to know what it is? Or maybe you have a few mysterious specimens in your personal collection? Bring them to Specimen ID Day! Our curator and trained volunteers will be available to help identify those geological finds.
Guests are welcome to bring any existing information regarding specimens including, where or how they were collected, weight, magnetic properties, and results of any prior testing.
Specimen ID is included with general admission to museum. No registration required.
Please Note: Tellus Science Museum staff and volunteers cannot appraise or assign monetary value to specimens. IDs are provided at staff discretion.
