Organizational Meeting for Bartow/Cartersville/Downtown Arts Committee

Purpose of Meeting:  We live in a community blessed with enormous talent in all venues of what is referred to as “The Arts”.  The Downtown Development Authority and the Cultural Arts Alliance are hosting this initial meeting to bring together individuals who have a passion for increasing Art in our community and providing venues to display that talent.

A recent survey of residents for the Downtown Master Plan indicated that they would like to see more Art in Downtown Cartersville. Likewise one of the main goals of the Cultural Art Alliance is to promote the Arts. This meeting is to begin preliminary discussion of how we make that happen.

We are looking for individuals with a passion in any venue of the Arts to help provide ideas, direction and volunteer time to make our community known for “ART”.
