New Temporary Exhibit to Open, Faces of Bartow
and
“The Memory of Light: Historical Photography in Cartersville”

Join us on April 25th, 2019 at 7 p.m. at the Bartow History Museum, as we open our new temporary exhibit, Faces of Bartow. An opening reception will begin at 6:30 p.m., followed by a presentation by Booth Western Art Museum Curator of Photography, Sam Gerace. Dr. Samuel Gerace III, will give a talk on the eighteenth and nineteenth-century history of photography in Cartersville. By highlighting photographs from the new exhibition, Dr. Gerace will explain the historical importance of these objects and early photographic processes. “We are excited to share some new stories and images through this exhibit, and we look forward to Sam’s presentation on local photographers,” states, Trey Gaines, Director of the Bartow History Museum.  The lecture is free for members and included in the price of admission for non-members.
