The event is free to the public, admittance to the park depends on available parking.

The event is co-hosted by Safe Kids Cherokee County and offers paddle sports, food vendors, snow cones, water safety games and activities, Chalk on the Walk art contest, summer safety activities, bike safety demos, fishing derby, dive team demo, and MUCH MORE! All current 4th graders that attend the event will be issued Every Kid in a Park passes, good for entrance at any federally operated area across the nation for the entire family.
