Georgia Highlands College will have a guest speaker on Thursday (FEB. 26) at 12:30 p.m. at the Cartersville campus who will be talking about the Fulbright Program, a highly prestigious international education program that allows students and faculty at American colleges and universities to live abroad for a summer, a semester, or even an entire academic year. Dr. Ray Smith, a management professor at Belhaven University, will be speaking about what the Fulbright Program is, his recent experiences completing a year with the Fulbright Program in the Slovak Republic, and strategies on how to apply for a Fulbright scholarship. This is a free and open event that will take place in the Cartersville Student Center in room 102A.
