Event Description:
Join us for the opening of our newest feature exhibit, A Patchwork of Patterns: Quilts Across Time, on April 27. This exhibition focuses on quilting as an art form and a unique way of marking milestones throughout people’s lives. Marriage quilts, baby quilts, community quilting guild projects, and more will be displayed. In addition to the exhibit opening, local quilter and quilt dealer Mia Koerner will give a special presentation on the art of quilting as part of our evening lecture series on April 27 at 7:00 p.m. Tickets for the lecture are free for members and $7 for not-yet-members.
