Event Description:
Come enjoy the wonders of the night sky through our 20" telescope in the Observatory! Possible sights include the Moon, Mars, Jupiter, Saturn, the Andromeda Galaxy, double star Gamma Andromeda, and star cluster M15. *What is visible through the telescope will depend on time of night and weather conditions. Please note that the Observatory and outdoor restrooms will be open, but the Museum will be closed. The Observatory is not heated, so please dress accordingly. *Check our homepage after noon on the day of the event for cancellations due to cloudy skies or inclement weather. If the event is canceled due to weather or other reasons, prepaid registrations will be refunded. Advance registration required. Registration open to members only until October 16, 2020. SUITABLE FOR ALL AGES.
