Open auditions for "Beauty of the Century" A group of the most horrendous monsters from history and literature gather to determine the most worthy of them to be “beauty” of the Century. For some, this is a chance to see and be seen. For others, it is a chance to check out the competition. Alone after a hard day of rehearsals, we learn about our monsters’ inner demons as several of them discuss strategy before the next day’s contest. During the competition, led by the enthusiastic Master of Ceremony, the monsters do their best to shine. There are role for up to 35 young performers. Callbacks and script pick-up the following night, Tuesday, June 13. First read through will be held Thursday, June 15, from 6-7 p.m. Performances Friday and Saturday, 7/28 & 29 at 7:00 p.m., and Sunday 7/30 at 3:00 p.m.
