Cartersville High School College & Career Fair 2017
When:
Wednesday, November 15, 2017
8:00 AM until 12:30 PM
Students will arrive in the Storm Center around 8:00 AM. Set up will be available starting at 7:15 AM.
Where:
Upstairs Portion of the CHS Storm Center (new gym)
Setup:
Each participant will have a table and chairs provided; grab and go breakfast and beverages will be available beginning at 7:15 AM
Agenda:
From 8:00 AM until 12:30 PM, CTAE classes will rotate in and out of the Storm Center to visit with industries represented at the Career Fair. Students will be encouraged to speak with each table to learn about: the company represented, jobs within the company, hiring practices, and how to prepare for a future in the industry (Post-Secondary education, internships, resumes, building a portfolio, needed skills and attributes).
What Should You Bring:
- Pens, Pencils, Candy, Give-a-ways
- Posters/Tri-fold/Promotional boards with information about your company
- Brochures/Post Cards/Pamphlets
- SAMPLES applications/Employment Folders for them to look through or keep
- Industry Fact Sheets
- Interested Equipment, Technology, Product Plans, Blue Prints, Product Types
- Anything Interactive
