Patients need you! For thousands of blood cancers like leukemia or other diseases like sickle cell anemia, a marrow transplant is their only hope for life. If you have diverse ancestry, patients especially need you because they are most likely to match someone who shares their heritage.

Meet Kendall
In August 2016, 20-year-old Kendall Brooke Womack began her 1st semester of nursing school at Shorter University. After several months of being sick, Kendall was diagnosed with Mono-MAC, a very rare genetic disease, on January 17, 2017. Her disease will turn into leukemia if left untreated. Now, Kendall's best hope for a cure is a marrow transplant, but first, she must find a matching marrow donor. By not having a matching marrow donor in her family, Kendall currently does not have the option of receiving a potentially life-saving marrow transplant. Please join the marrow donor registry to see if you can be the cure for Kendall or another patient like her.
