2024 Micromineral Symposium + Field Trips

Bring your microscopes and enjoy a four-day event learning about and viewing microminerals – crystals that are too small to see with the naked eye, but whose beauty are revealed through a microscope. The event includes time looking at microcrystals, meeting with fellow micromounters, listening to lectures by top micro-mineralogists, a workshop on preparing and photographing microminerals, and going on field trips to two* of the Southeast’s top micromineral localities. *Field trip details will be provided after registration.
