2017 Duck Dash 5K

Entering its 13th year, this year’s Advocates for Children Duck Dash 5K and Children’s Fun Run will be held the evening of May 5, 2017 – Cinco de Mayo. Presented by Northside Bank, along with additional sponsors of Gary Fox, CPA and Mockingbird Dental, the race will kick off the weekend of the Duck Derby. 

The race course will be similar to recent years, providing a fast and flat course for runners of all ages and abilities. Proceeds from the race go toward preventing and treating child abuse in all its forms through the programs and services of Advocates for Children.

Race Day Registration will begin at 6 p.m. at the Cartersville Middle School Track.  The Race itself will begin at 7 p.m. with the Start/Finish Line also located on the Cartersville Middle School Track. The Children’s Fun Run will begin at approximately 7:45 p.m.

Pre-registration prices are $25 for the 5K and $10 for the children’s Fun Run. Students may register for the 5K at a price of $17. Registration is now open here.
