November First Friday in Downtown Cartersville
Giving Thanks to the Local Non-Profit Organizations
CARTERSVILLE – The Cartersville Downtown Development Authority invites you to the November First Friday event, “Giving Thanks.” The event will take place on Friday, November 7th in historic downtown Cartersville.
The event will be from 5-8 PM. Several non-profit organizations will be set up throughout historic downtown Cartersville sharing information about their missions and needs, including but not limited to Tranquility House, Bartow Health Access, and The League for Animal Welfare, American Red Cross, Family Promise of Bartow County, and Etowah Valley Humane Society. “This event is a great way for us to show thanks and give to wonderful causes that our local non-profit organizations are organizing and supporting,” stated Special Events Coordinator Hollie Duncan. “This weekend is also the kickoff to our Downtown Holiday Shopping event, so we felt this would be a great way to start it.” Many shops will be open until 8 PM or later offering great specials and deals.
